CANDY BARS!!!

I have been having all sorts of cravings with this pregnancy! I have never been so random about cravings. And most of the time they happen all at once... I think that now I really understand why pregnant women would want to eat pickles with ice cream....

Things I have been craving lately (the past couple of days)...
  • Nachos
  • Cinnamon toast crunch
  • Candy bars (doesn't matter the type)
  • milk (Which is just nasty! And I can't drink it)
  • Milkshakes
  • GIANT AWESOME GREASY HAMBURGERS from either Hardee's or Rally's
  • Pork mini buns (Chinese food)
  • Broccoli SMOTHERED in cheese
  • egg rolls
  • Fried Eggs (the gooey ones)
  • Doritos
  • Pizza
  • m&m's
  • shrimp
  • meat loaf and mashed potatoes

I will NOT touch any type of fruit or veg right now. The very thought of eating anything remotely healthy makes me want to just gag. Unless that it is covered in cheese, chocolate or fried, all 3 combined is even better.

Tung Kow

I've fallen in love with the Oriental Market! It is amazing! Anyways, I bought a package of Tung Kow Dried Noodle (Product of the People's Republic of China!) The package is in Chinese but they added some translated "English". This is what it says for the cooking directions... (This is word for word with the spelling off of the package)

"Rong He" Brand Tong Kow Dried Doodele is a traditional diet made of choice flour white and smooth. Soft but tough threads and easy cooking are favourable for pot luck. For entertainment of guest or for use as a gift.

Subbestions for cooking: (1) Frying: After softening the Noodle in boiling water. Take out to fry along with sauteed dainty ingerdients until well done. (2) Boiling: Fry the aforesaid ingredients to half-done. Put in boiling water at the bubble and gether. The softened noodle to simmer until fully cooked. (3) Deepfrying: After frying in boiling oil for 1-2 minutes. It is crisp and savoury and when coordinated with congee or other diet. It is appetizing, Indeed!

It's that awesome!

Baked Beans

In Ashlee's Pre-K class, the kids were asked what their favorite food was and how it was prepared. This is Ashlee's Answer:

Baked Beans
"Mommy heats up oil in them. Some milk and chicken and Pepsi. That is it. Then she puts it in the oven. Sometimes she puts it in the microwave and the oven. Temperature is 4 and she cooks it five minutes. My dad makes fruit cakes. We have fruit cake with our beans. I like fruit cake. That's all!!"
So I guess her favorite food is Baked Beans! Which actually really funny because I don't think that I have EVER made Baked Beans before because they are disgusting. I've also never seen Brian make a "fruit cake", maybe he's doing it while I'm at school. I think that everyone should really try her recipe because it sounds yummy!

Dear Jesus...

Ashlee seriously is really the funniest kid ever! Here is a conversation that I had with her last night...

{Ash} Mommy, can I have a drink of your pop?

{Me} No

{Ash} Why not?!

{Me} Because I don't want to share!!! ( just playing around with her)

{Ash} I'm telling Jesus!

"Dear Jesus, Please tell Mommy that she has to share her pop with me! Amen"

{Ash} (Really deep voice) KIRSTIN, you need to share your pop with Ashlee!!!!

{Ash} See, he said you have to share!
