This is who my husband fell in love with...

One of my really good friends growing up is posting all of these awesome pictures of me all over facebook...

Chocolate Covered Caramel Popcorn

Since I have nothing else to do while trying to go into labor, I came up with this deliciousness! Chocolate covered Caramel Popcorn!! I am awesome. Your welcome.

Caramel Corn

* This recipe has to have real popped popcorn (by stove or air popper) you CAN'T use microwave... it won't work.

12 cups popped popcorn (2/3 cup kernels)
1/2 cup butter
1 cup light brown sugar, packed
1/4 cup light corn syrup
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
3 cups mixed deluxe nuts

(if you don't want to use nuts, pop 15 cups of popcorn)

Pop popcorn until you have 12 cups, put in really large bowl, add nuts and mix.

In a pan heat the butter, light brown sugar, light corn syrup, and salt on medium heat and cook, stirring occasionally for 5 minutes.

Remove from heat.

Stir in the baking soda.

Pour over the popped popcorn and stir till well coated.

Put on large ungreased cookie sheet or two....

Bake at 200°F for 1 hour stirring every 15 minutes.

Remove from oven and start making chocolate!

Chocolate Stuff

I make each pkg separately. 1 for each pan...

2 pkg milk chocolate chips
2 tsp shortening (1 tsp for each pkg)

In a microwave safe bowl, place 1 pkg chocolate chips with 1 tsp of shortening.

Microwave about 2 minutes, until chocolate is shiny

Remove and stir until melted.

Quickly stir on to caramel popcorn.

Cool completely, before eating

Enjoy the goodness...

What do you do when your fighting with your sister over a Hannah Montana water bottle? You shove her face into a window.

Yep, that's what happened last night. Reese "accidentally" pushed Ashlee and her face "fell" into the window. Ash is fine, she just has a little bruise on her check...

I really don't have any words to say about this....

Race for the Cure

Last Saturday the Race for the Cure was held downtown. They went right down our street! There was a TON of people, I thought that I heard almost 15000 people participated. I took this picture from our balcony.

36 Week Update...

Hooray! I'm 9 months!

Had a Dr. appointment this morning and I am already 3-4 cm dilated! So exciting!!! Why?! Because I can have this baby at anytime!! And then I won't be pregnant!!!!

So my plan is to start running on the tredmill...

Baby Stats:

We had another ultrasound and she slowed down on the weight gain. Right now she is measuring 7 lbs 5 oz, still big but nothing to be too concerned about.

How I feel: Large. Huge. Enormous. Giant tumor..

Sleep: Nope. Can't roll over...

Gender: Still a girl!

Weight Gain: I only gained 1/2 a pound... So I don't count it...

Labor Signs: Need more...

Follow my nose...

With this pregnancy I have had some really weird cravings, and it has nothing to do with food. I have been craving smells!!

1. New tires

I am loving the smell of new tires. Weird I know, but it is wonderfully smelly. Whenever I go to Sam's, I walk by really slow just so I don't look like a freak smelling tires. If I could I would buy a tire and bring it home to smell it all day long.

2. Gas

Ok, who doesn't like the smell of gas?!

3. New Contruction

There is just something about the smell of drywall. It makes me happy. Luckly for me I have a lot of construction going on in my house.

HOLY CRAP! OWWW!!! 34 week update...

My body is seriously under attack with this child!

About 8 years ago I broke about 3 ribs on the left side of my body. They healed kinda funny (like not in the right place) and even now when I lay on my side weird or if I get to much pressure on them it hurts. Well guess who decided to find those ribs!!! She has gotten so big that I can feel her "down there" and in my ribs at the same time. Do you know what its like to be hit at both places at the same time? Well it sucks. And it's just going to get worse because she has to stay in there for another 4 weeks. Anyways, back to my pain... It feels like she is curling her toes around them and re braking them! I am having a hard time breathing (because of the shooting pains from the ribs), I can't bend over (because she is there!) and everything else has gone to crap.

This just isn't fair. I'm 5'1". I shouldn't be having babies this big. (Stupid Brian...)

Well, here's the update:

How I feel: Angry. She has gone past her welcome and needs to be evicted.

Sleep: Nope, don't remember what that actually is... I having been stressing over her coming. i.e. going into labor and not having a plan for my kids.

Gender: Girl. But will be having another Ultrasound in 2 weeks, so we'll check again.

Weight Gain: Ugh..5 more lbs (in 2 weeks). That's a total of 41 lbs all together... But, most of it is just water weight (unless my Dr is lying to me). I have been swelling really bad in the past couple of weeks. Worried that I might get pre-eclampsia again.

Labor Signs: I don't even want to talk about them.... I'm contracting all of the time.
