flaw

I have a huge flaw.

Some think that it's a little funny while others feel that it's offensive.

Ok, it's super offensive.

I have a problem with really stupid annoying people.  And I feel like it is my duty as a citizen of this great country to let them know that their awesomeness is offending my brain. I have always had this problem. It used to be super bad when I was younger, but then I grew up and learned how to control my emotions.

Facebook has made this little quirk about me into a raging  fire breathing dragon that would love nothing better than burn the town and devour the townspeople. I just love it when stupid ignorant people make comments on things and they just sound like they are talking out of their arse. Seriously? We all know that your super awesome with your perfect amazing life. Please save the rest of humanity from your verbal farts.

I'm really trying to be an adult and hold back on commenting a response to their unbelievably ignorant thoughts. I'm trying really hard to take a deep breathe and count to 10. I am really really trying hard to be a kind nice person. But it's just really hard!!!!!

I am the wild card, ladies.

Prepare to have your panties in a twist, because there will be no knight in shinning armor to save you from this verbal dragon.

Once again...

I am getting sick. I can feel it. It's in my face and it hurts. I've seriously have had some type of cold since October. Right now as I am typing I am snotting all over myself and laptop (for reals, it's gross). Omg I can't breathe.  It's all the weathers fault. Freaking weather gods...

pandemonium

Definition of PANDEMONIUM

1:  the capital of Hell in Milton's Paradise Lost
2:  the infernal regions :  hell
3:   not capitalized :  a wild uproar :  tumult
4: the days before a winter storm and everyone at Walmart goes batshit crazy

Yesterday, I had to go to Walmart. Not because I needed supplies to survive this oncoming "storm", I just really wanted to make a baked lobster macaroni and cheese. The parking lot was freaking packed and I ended up parking like 5 miles from the entrance. It was freaking complete chaos in the store. People are running around with their carts, filling them up with cases of Bush Light and Mt Dew. We waited 45 min in line to check out, which really is a standard Walmart procedure anyway.

Anyways, it was horrible. And this "storm" hasn't even happened yet. The weather dudes predicted that we would get 4-8in in snow yesterday. Today they say about 1 in in snow. I don't think they really know. But it is going to be freaking cold tomorrow. Something like -8 or something ridiculously worse and cold. And they are most likely going to cancel school. Not cool weather gods, not cool.

2013 recap

This year has been an interesting one. The biggest factor being our major remodel. But I will save that disaster for another post.

I will also say that this year has been a HUGE struggle for me. My stress levels have been sky high and I also have about 7000 kids that I am trying to raise. And by raise I mean be letting them live to the next day. All due to the disaster that I am living with, but like I said that's for another post.

The girls started gymnastics this year. They are all super flexible and its super disgusting. Reese surprised us all and turned out to be an amazing gymnast.

This summer I took the kids to my parents for our annual MI summer trip. Once again, Brian stayed home to work. I really don't mind that he didn't come, it was nice to just hang with my mom and do girl things.
Some summer pictures

2013 was also a very big year for Brian and I. It was our 10 yr anniversary. It's a big deal and I love that I've been married to him for the past 10 yrs. In 10 years we have moved 8 times. Been to 4 different colleges/university's. I've been pregnant 8 times and had 6 kids. In 10 years we had grown up. We got married when we were teenagers and vowed never to be a statistic, and we have never been.

For our Anniversary we took a little trip to St Louis. It was an amazing trip! We actually went to an art museum and had adult conversations and ate at "real" restaurants.  And the best part of our trip... NO KIDS!!!!

My kids were asked to be in a fashion show! They love it! And we hope that they are asked back again next year.... hint hint.

In October I ran my 2nd half marathon. It rained and poured and rained some more the ENTIRE time I was running. I was super cold and I hate being wet. But other than that it was a great run. And I'll do it again next year!

Then 3 days after my race we went back up to MI to see 2 concerts. We saw Brian's favorite band Hatebreed and then we saw Avenged Sevenfold!!! I love love love them!!

The concerts were amazing!!! And it was also nice to be back in the D (that's Detroit to all you non MI people)

We took the kids to a petting farm/pumpkin patch while up there. The kids love animals so it was awesome.

love affair

I got this beautiful beast for Christmas. I love her beyond words. It puts a smile on my face when ever I use her. I love the way she sucks up all of the dirt and hair from my nasty kids and animals. And with a quick flick of my wrist she can chase one of those nasty animals like its her job. She is the awesomest of awesome. My favorite forever...

29

Today I turned 29. And I actually feel really good about it. I'm excited for 29, its not 30 and it makes me feel a little more like a grown up. I don't feel good about being a mother to a 10 year old in 2 days. Its not that it makes me feel old, but that she is getting older and it really makes me sad that my Ree growing up. Being 29 also means that I have been with Brian for 11 years and he has seen me grow up, sortof...

Goals for 29

Run the half marathon again
Actually finish craft projects (sewing is my biggest finishing fail)
Stay calm, because being stressed out causes wrinkles and thats a bad thing
Make sure the people I love know I love them
To be more spiritual

Not alot of goals, but I also have like 150 kids to raise and deal with. So not a lot of time for myself...

Jude

Meet Jude.

He was born October 24th at 6:01 am.

He was 7lbs 14oz and 21 1/4 in long.

His Birth Story:

I was admitted into triage around 7:30 pm contracting around 3-4 minutes apart. They checked me and I was only dilated to a 4. Something weird was going on with me because I had an irregular heartbeat, something that I've never had, and had to get an EKG. They decided to keep me around 10pm and sent me to a room. Got the epidural around midnight. After I got the epidural my blood pressure crashed. I was completely out of it and kept passing out and wanting to throw up. Brian said that I looked like death. He was scared, my nurse was kinda frantic. I ended up getting a shot of something and it brought my blood pressure back up. It really took forever to dilate to a 10. 5:30am came around and I started to push! He showed up 31 minutes later!

It is SO different having a boy! He is my everything! I seriously cannot stop kissing his little face!
