ANOTHER ONE!!!!!

I had my ultrasound today. Can you guess what we're having? That's right, a GIRL!! You should of seen the look on Brian's face when the tech told us what it was. He is so upset, he wanted a boy so bad!! At least the girls are happy about it.....

Face

Foot

Oh, the tech did say that this baby is a little on the "large" side for it's age. Right now the baby weighs 1 lb 9 oz. I guarantee you that this baby will be HUGE when she's born!

Ashlee's 1st Day of School

Hooray! Today was the first day of school (preschool) for Ashlee! She was so excited! But that excitement died the minute she got home, she needs a nap! But I get to deal with her stinkiness until bedtime, that kid doesn't sleep. I really hope that she likes going to school!

My little big girl!

I have no idea how that rash got there, isn't it weird.

The Hidden Door

The walls are coming down (literally)! Brian found a pocket door that has been hidden behind a wall for many years. The door is beautiful! We are so excited about the new find that we decided to rearrange and change the flow of the house. Now, two more walls are going to be coming down. It's actually not really a big deal, when the house was built the walls weren't there. It's so exciting to bring the house back to what it was!

Back to School!

Back to school. Back to school, to prove to Dad that I'm not a fool. I got my lunch packed up, my boots tied tight, I hope I don't get in a fight. Ohhhh, back to school. Back to school. Back to school. Well, here goes nothing. - Billy Madison

Today is Reese's first day of Kindergarten! All-day Kindergarten! Reese has been so excited for today, she has been talking non-stop about it for the past month (I have been equally excited for it also). While Reese was getting ready this morning, Ashlee kept having fits about not being able to go too. She kept screaming, "What about ME!!" Poor Ash, she starts school on August 26th, then I am going to have only 1 kid at home!

Goodbye Summer...

Summer is now officially over. The pools are closed and drained and school starts tomorrow. I really wonder why they close it at the beginning of August, it's so freakin' HOT! This summer was really great, we spent most of our time at the pool. We would meet up with our really good friends (Adrienne and Stacy and their kids), stay there for a couple of hours and just have a great time. I am really going to miss it!

I finally got some pictures of the girls at the pool...

Like mother like daughter...

I know, it's all my fault. I've passed on to my child the most horrible aliment that one can experience in life: Shortness Syndrome. I grew up being tormented about my physical mishaps. I am only 5 feet tall and still have problems in everyday situations. Example: The Kitchen, I can't reach anything. Stores, why do they have to put everything I need on the top shelf?! Jeans, too long for my short legs and Capri's look like pants on me.

Yesterday Reese had her Kindergarten Physical. The doctor looks at her chart, and then decides to measure her again. He comes back saying that she is a little on the small side. Actually, alot on the small side, she is way below the average height of a normal child her age. Nothing to worry about, she's just short.

Poor Reese, I'm sorry!

Biting

We are having a little problem with biting in our house. This is the present that Reese left. I really don't have any tolerance with biting, when I was about four years old some brat bit my face and left a scar about 1 1/2 long under my right eye, which I still have! (Come take a look!)

This is the 3rd time in the past week that Reese has bit someone... Maybe I should bite back...

Mammoth Cave

Last Saturday while my family was here, we took a trip to Mammoth Cave. We took a cave tour. It was a lot of fun. Most of the kids really enjoyed it. Before the tour started the "Cave Ranger" told us what to expect while we were down in the cave, right before he ended he wanted to warn everyone that this tour is not for you if you have a fear of heights, bats, small confind places and spiders. As soon as Reese hears that she starts freaking out, and doesn't want to go on the tour. Then the "Cave Ranger" explains that we would be traveling on a bridge about a foot wide over gapping holes 100 ft below us. Then I start to freak out because I think that my kids are going to fall in to the hole.

Well, turns out that it wasn't at all like he said. It was really cool.

My goofy family...

Holy Flying Fungus Batman!

My family arrived here on Friday. Brian and I thought that it would be nice to take my parents out to dinner and a movie. We saw the Dark Knight. It was really good, everyone should go see it! After the movie, we went to The Nagaski Inn (my favorite place in the world). Our chef comes out to prepare the food and immediatly starts a food fight with the other chef two tables down, well the other chef tosses a steaming mushroom and it lands down in the front of my shirt and he yells score! That thing was really hot, I finally dig it out of my bra, and throw it back at him, and smacks a bald guy in the head with the mushroom. After that dinner was pretty quite.
